The Liberty we recognize today, stands so immensely tall, proud, and strong, it’s message of glowing hope and freedom travels through the minds of the world, and resonates, drawing individuals who suffer under tyranny to our shores in our third century still. We are the flagship of freedom in a sea of that tyranny.
An example for the world. Women shall not be subjugated in this country. They will not tolerate it. Neither will men, as we all are determined that no one regardless of their attributes be denied the inalienable rights so well articulated.
Our Republic evolves and continue to create the most optimal society. We prove over time, people can govern themselves. There is no other option.
Liberty in her Statuesque form stands literally in concrete and steel, on the impervious massive pedestal of righteousness. She stands as a metaphor, and as an image, enduring, and indelible, unknown to few, celebrated worldwide.
Roe v Wade is in the company of the most important decisions that the Supreme Court has accurately ruled upon. The decision reaches back through the historical events that were the maturation of our Republic. Now, again, a precedent etched in the Granite of Freedom, IT WILL ENDURE. It is in our self governance, our own implicit contract with society, the binding of freedom, that we are in comfort that the flaw has been fixed, and shall stand. We will continue this effort on all fronts, tearing down any barriers as we find them.
The sentinels of freedom shall never be unaware of attack. The guard never let down. There is still work to be done, and it shall. We are a Union of self governance that proves to the world that it can be done. There is no other choice, except the choice to abide by the laws we construct for ourselves. And we take comfort in that knowledge.
Rejoice on this blessed day the Anniversary of Roe v Wade. As few in this world have what we do, as we routinely do not even notice as we journey though our lives in freedom. Freedom to control our own bodies, and make our own decisions.
The old notions will die off as they have over the generations, and freedom will endure and the people of our nation will cradle in that joyous comfort.

Dear Crazy Pro-Death People,
The bible says abortion is wrong.
God is my saviour.
The Pope tells us of the evils of Abortion and Birth control.
He is infallible.
What don’t you understand.
No Catholic could ever support Abortion, and go to heaven.
It is wrong.
You people are crazy.
Tell me why it is OK to kill a baby? An innocent life?
I am ashamed that you use the statue of liberty in this way.
How dare you use the American Flag!!!!
Preposterous BS!

There must be something I am missing…I hear you say that over one million abortions are performed per year. ok. But you can only find hundreds or thousands who can honestly say that it saved their life. EVERY TIME I read about that word -ABORTION, I see paragraph after paragraph of utter SELFISHNESS. I do beleive there are some out there that would have died giving birth because of a medical condition, etc. But 90% of the time, abortion is done because “it wasn’t the right time” for the “mother” or some other non-sense. Abortion is trading one life for another any way you look at it. The baby is literally dying for the mother’s “freedom” and “right to choose”. How can you honestly look at the process and call that humane? How can you look at baby body parts that get ripped apart like ground beef and call it choice. That baby didn’t get that freedom. He didn’t get the option to make an informed decision. I guarantee you he wouldn’t have chosen to get suctioned out of his mother, so she can continue to be “free”. God teaches us to love one another as He loves us. He died for us. Should we not then die for each other if that is what is called upon us. If I had to choose between my child’s life and my own, I would choose my child’s with no hesitation, even if I hadn’t yet met him.

James: No one ever said that abortion is the perfect solution and women who have abortions do not always have them as casually as you might think. It is an extremely tough decision. Sure, there are some who may be casual about it. But, you’re right – at some point as the fetus develops, it develops more into a “baby” and that makes the decision even more gut wrenching. I have talked to thousands of women who have had abortions and it is obvious that they do want to be at the clinic. But, in their minds, they feel like this was the best decision. Of course, the key is to try to do what we can to avoid this predicament in the first place. I’m sure you’ll agree that it is best to have a wanted pregnancy. I believe in God, just like you. And I know God – and Jesus – would have compassion for all the parties involved.

Should women be allowed to use birth control?

I’m not speaking of women’s rights, Robin. Yes. I DO believe women should be ALLOWED to use birth conrtol. It IS their body. My argument lies in the fact that once the egg meets the sperm; A Life IS made. Then it isn’t JUST THEIR BODY. And I’m actually quite the opposite of clueless. The hormones in birth control are intended to prevent ovulation (release of the egg). Without ovulation, no fertilization can take place. BC also makes it difficult for the sperm to reach the egg. Thus, no life can be made. I like birth control when abstinence is not a reality. I don’t see it as a killing. Nothing has been created. I oppose the actual act of aborting a life that is already present. I have seen the horrific process, and I have seen what it does to the mother. For anyone that has watched an abortion, I think we can all agree that it isn’t humane. If you can honestly say it is, then you haven’t seen one.
Pat, I respect your answer and your beliefs. And I do agree with you in certain respects. Thanks for your reply… You believe in God, and Jesus. Do you think the parties involved should ask for forgiveness?
Robin, your “name calling” doesn’t provide for good argument. Educate yourself, then come back and teach me something. I would be happy to hear what you have to say.

James birth control routinely causes the abortion of a fertilized egg.
So what is your answer without your blinders on.
Can women use birth control, like IUDs, Birth contol Pills, Patches, Norplant DepoProvera, progestin only pills, Essure , Mirena and so on?

Not sure, James, if these women should ask for “forgiveness.” I guess if you are a Catholic and you have an abortion, you have sinned. So (it’s been years), do they still go to confession and confess their sins?
The funny thing is that the majority of women who get abortions are Catholic.
