This more recent strategy of you kayhaitchers, asking prolifers to list their other good deeds, backfires: Jesus said that when it comes to good deeds, you should not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. If you yourself are not even aware of them, how can you list them? Charles, are you paying attention?

John, if you can’t be persuaded by reasonable discourse into addressing your lack of care for human life, then it’s fair play to drive you there through shame. I’m not bragging; I am only saying that my right hand has been doing more than your right hand, nyah, nyah, nyah.
But actually I haven’t done that much. That 600 hours a year was only 2,160,000 seconds annually, which is piddling compared to the 31,536,000 that a parent must devote.
However, it towers over the 0 seconds you spend, I’m sorry to say. I wish so-called “pro-lifers” could do better than I have, but then I also wish every alcoholic would get into a recovery.

I can’t find the video, and the other link is dead, but from what I know of aborticentrism isn’t it the idea that pro-lifers believe what they believe because they’re, to sum it up, mentally disturbed?
Isn’t that sort of a cop out?
It would be like me, a complete dove, claiming that everyone who supports the War in Afghanistan must have a deep, dark lust for violence that they live out vicariously through the troops. I mean, you all agree that would be a crock, right? People support the war because they think its the right thing to do, and I oppose it for exactly the same reasons. I don’t agree with hawks’ logic, but I don’t insult them by labeling them with “murderinginnocentcivilianscentrism”.
All I’m trying to say is that no matter what side you’re on, whenever you boil opponents down to “they’re all just crazy”, you do a disservice not only to them, but to your own beliefs as well. Not to mention the lost possibilities for constructive dialogue (which I’ve seen firsthand, even in an issue as divisive as abortion).
